Estimated reading time 2 minutes, 30 seconds.

Three companies (Blackhawk Modifications, BLR Aerospace, and Raisbeck Engineering) are joining forces at the Latin American Business Aviation Conference and Exhibition (LABACE) Aug. 14-16 to provide one-stop shopping for King Air owners/operators interested in improving the performance and value of their aircraft. The three companies are leading providers of performance-enhancing technologies for the King Air family of aircraft.

By co-locating their LABACE exhibits (stand 5005), the three companies are making it more convenient for prospective customers to see equipment and gather relevant information about the performance enhancement options best suited to their needs and operational challenges.

Blackhawk will promote its “Blackhawk Strong” engine upgrade solutions for King Air 90 and 200 Series aircraft. The upgrades improve performance, reduce operating costs and increase resale value, providing a competitive edge and improved performance in every flight regime, from takeoff to landing. A King Air with new engines from Blackhawk will perform 25 percent better and realize savings of $50,000 in annual operating costs. Blackhawk upgrades are also available for the Cessna Caravan and other turboprops.

BLR Aerospace will promote its FAA-, EASA-, ANAC-certified Winglet Systems and LED Lighting for King Air aircraft. Winglets deliver reduced drag for better fuel economy, increased climb and cruise speeds, more responsive performance and stability, and safer low-speed handling qualities, especially during takeoffs and landings in short field operations.  Winglets also increase aircraft resale, deliver a 100 percent return on investment, according to the Aircraft Blue Book, and are factory-installed on Beechcraft C90GTx and 250 aircraft.

Raisbeck Engineering will be showcasing its comprehensive family of Raisbeck Performance Systems, and will feature and display its new Swept Blade Turbofan Propellers for the King Air 200 Series, which are now certified in Brazil. These propellers, when combined with Raisbeck’s EPIC Performance Package, give King Air 200s increased performance in all phases, increased payload, the ability to operate safely into thousands more airports, greater dispatch reliability, a modern look, reduced cabin noise, and more.

Representatives from the three companies will be available to meet with customers and members of the news media throughout LABACE.
