The competition is considered one of Canada’s most prestigious events for amateur aviators. This marks the sixth time a Seneca Aviation student has won the trophy.

Cohen was in Saskatoon last week with eight other amateur pilots. They took part in a week-long series of flight tests, flying exercises, written exams and simulator exercises.

By claiming the top prize in the Webster Memorial Trophy Competition, Cohen will have his name added to the trophy which is on display permanently at the Canada Aviation and Space Museum.
