The partnership provides a career pathway for pilots at Alkan Air to become first officers with Air Georgian.

“Alkan Air’s pilot training program is thrilled to partner with the Air Georgian SOAR program to provide northern trained pilots with career advancement opportunities,” said Wendy Tayler, president of Alkan Air. “This partnership demonstrates our commitment to providing safe and effective pilot training that meet the highest standards in the industry. The Yukon provides pilots with stunning landscapes and unique experiences that are not found elsewhere in Canada.”

“We are excited to expand our national program as far west as Yukon Territories,” said SOAR coordinator, Jeslene Bryant. “Alkan Air’s diverse fleet of turboprop aircraft and various operations–including flight training, charter and medivac services–make the airline a great addition to the SOAR program.”
