Skies has been selected as one of the Top 20 Canadian magazines on the web.
The ranking is based on search and social metrics, and comes from Feedspot, an RSS reader that gathers news websites, blogs, YouTube channels and other social media accounts into a central location.
Skies is ranked in the Top 20, alongside leading consumer magazines like Macleans, MoneySense, Chatelaine and The Walrus.
The magazines are ranked based on the following criteria:
- Google reputation and Google search ranking;
- Influence and popularity on Facebook, Twitter and other social media sites;
- Quality and consistency of posts; and,
- Feedspot’s editorial team and expert review.
Skies has more than 17,500 Facebook fans, more than 4,400 Twitter followers, and more than 2,200 followers on Instagram, with about 21 post per week to its website, skiesmag.com.
Feedspot encouraged its readers to subscribe to Skies and other Top 20 websites, “because they are actively working to educate, inspire, and empower their readers with frequent updates and high-quality information.”
