International Water-Guard Industries Inc. appoints new president

IWG Technologies Inc. (IWG-T) announces that effective Jan. 6, 2014 Darryl E. Jacobs was appointed as president, International Water-Guard Industries Inc. (IWG-I). Mr. Bruce MacCoubrey, current president, will work to transition the leadership of the IWG team to Jacobs and will continue to serve as a member of the Board of Directors of IWG-T.
Jacobs brings over 20 years’ experience in the aviation industry to IWG. Jacobs successfully directed the start-up and early year development phase of FLYHT Inc. as its founder and president in Calgary, Alta.  He was Sr. VP marketing and business development with TASS Inc. a US company, which provides technical services to airlines, OEM’s and MRO’s around the world.  Most recently Darryl provided technical assistance to the aviation industry through Inter-Action Enterprises located in B.C.
Jacobs’ expertise in complex aircraft systems, design, development, airworthiness engineering and installation will be invaluable to IWG-I as it moves forward with new products and customers. Jacobs’ in-depth experience in business development will help guide IWG with its growth plan. The board welcomes Jacobs to the IWG management team as it continues to achieve profitable growth for the Company.
The Board also thanks MacCoubrey for his tireless efforts over the past 18 months in working with International Water-Guard Industries team through a challenging transition period providing significant revenue and profit growth for the company.  His future contribution will allow a smooth transition of leadership that will benefit all stakeholders.
