Turkish Airlines inaugurated its three times weekly year-round service from Istanbul to Montreal-Trudeau Airport (YUL) on June 3. The airline will fly to Montreal on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays, with TK35 departing Istanbul at 14:00 and arriving in Montreal at 17:20. The returning flight, TK36, departs at 23:40 and arrives in Istanbul at 16:00 the next day. The service will be flown with 289-seat Airbus A330-300 aircraft, and will benefit from connections provided by Star Alliance partners, such as Air Canada, to connect passengers to other points in North America. From Istanbul’s Atatürk Airport, Turkish Airlines offers connections to 42 Turkish destinations and over 200 international destinations in more than 100 countries . This is the carrier’s second Canadian destination, complementing its daily service to Toronto’s Pearson Airport.
