HondaJet had a strong presence at NBAA. The company made several announcements at the show, including the fact that it has partnered with Skyservice Business Aviation for the sale of HondaJets in Canada.
Skyservice Business Aviation has been appointed as the Canadian sales centre for Honda Aircraft Company’s lightweight HondaJet business aircraft. The partnership was announced at the 2012 National Business Aviation Association convention in Orlando, Fla.

“Skyservice has an outstanding reputation in Canada as the country’s largest aircraft management and charter operator, and will be a strong HondaJet network partner,” said Michimasa Fujino, Honda Aircraft president and CEO.

The Greensboro, N.C.-based company also announced that production has begun on the US$4.5 million HondaJet, with Federal Aviation Authority certification expected in late 2013.

“An assembly line for HondaJet production is in place, major aircraft components including the fuselage and wing have been produced, and we have started assembly of the first customer aircraft,” said Fujino.
