Throughout his military career as an Air Logistics Officer, Sing has occupied positions with 19 Wing, 19 Wing’s Mission Support Flight, 1 Canadian Air Division Headquarters and Canadian Forces Joint Operations Support Group. He deployed to Southwest Asia on Op Archer/Athena, Pakistan for Op Plateau, Kandahar for Op Athena, Latin America and the Caribbean for Op Renaissance – Irma/Maria and Dakar for Op Presence.

Sing holds a bachelor’s degree in politics and economics from the Royal Military College of Canada as well as having completed the Joint Command and Staff Program in 2017.

“I feel extremely honoured to have been selected to command 2 Air Movements Squadron. I have first-hand experience with the professionalism and dedication of the women and men of this unit and I will do my best to enable them to succeed in their mission. I want to thank LCol Teresa Brown for her incredible leadership over the past few years and I look forward to building upon the work she has done,” said Sing.

“2 Air Movements Squadron has a proud tradition of supporting operations and exercises around the world. I am extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to work alongside dedicated and professional Traffic Technicians and Air Movements Officers living up to our team philosophy of mission first – family always. Undeniably, my journey as Commanding Officer has been the highlight of my career. I sincerely wish LCol Sing good fortune as he guides the Squadron through whatever challenges the future holds,” said Brown.
