It’s an exciting day for the CanJet brand; CanJet Vacations has officially launched! Packages are available for sale at canjetvacations.com, and guests can also book through CanJet’s call center at 1-800-809-7777.  Travel agents will be able to book CanJet Vacations’ packages in the SIREV GDS or by calling the call center.
“Our Digital Agency of Record, Konrad Group, has created an impressive website that is very compelling and provides an exceptional user experience,” commented Chris Kelly, CanJet’s vice president of business planning who is overseeing the CanJet Vacations business.  “It is this unique overall look and feel you will see in the coming days, weeks and months that will set the brand apart in the market, as we drive awareness and kick-off advertising initiatives.”
In addition to the website launch, you can also follow and engage with the brand through its social media channels (@CanJetVacations) on Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram and Linkedin.
Vice president and general manager Robbie Goldberg and the CanJet Vacations team have accomplished a significant amount since mid-May. The tour operator will be offering close to 200 different four star and above hotels under the CanJet Vacations brand.  With that being said, the focus will now switch to the sales side for the next few months to establish strategic partnerships and make CanJet Vacations’ product offering available in additional distribution channels.
CanJet Vacations has added travel industry veteran John Kirk to its executive team in the role of vice president, sales and marketing effective Monday, Aug. 18.  John has extensive experience in sales, distribution and e-commerce and will lead all of these initiatives for CanJet Vacations.
John joins the CanJet team from Porter Escapes where he was the director, vacations and packaged products.  Prior to that, John held the position of senior vice president, retail and e-commerce for Thomas Cook North America.
“We are very excited about the talented team we have assembled to lead CanJet Vacations through its start-up phase and prepare the company for future growth,” Kelly said.  “We will have everything needed for an unforgettable travel experience including luxurious four star+ hotels, a proven vacation airline in CanJet Airlines, and we will be committed to exceptional service throughout our customers’ journey.”
CanJet Vacations will be offering departures on CanJet Airlines from Toronto Pearson Airport starting Dec. 18, 2014 to destinations in Mexico, Cuba, Dominican Republic and Jamaica.
“CanJet is not new to Canadian leisure travelers, and customers will enjoy a comfortable, modern onboard experience in addition to the reliable service CanJet Airlines has built its reputation on over the last 14 years through its on-time performance and safety record,” stated Stephen Rowe, president of CanJet.  “We will continue to offer CanJet Select, seat selection, hot meal service, welcome onboard beverages and other service features our guests expect from CanJet Airlines as they head to their vacation destination.”
