New Honeywell Authorized Service Center in Asia Pacific
All indications are that the timing is right for establishing an engine service facility in the Asia Pacific region, commented Hugh McElroy, President of BBA Aviation Engine Repair and Overhaul Group. The agreement between Honeywell and Dallas Airmotive is indicative of both companies commitment to serving this high growth market and making it easier for customers to receive the critical support they need.
The service center will be located at Singapore Seletar Airport on the Jet Aviation property. It will be headed by general manager Francis Lee, a Singapore native and veteran of 25 years in the aviation engine MRO business. Francis has the contacts and experience to help us bring the service center up to speed on day one, continued McElroy. We also have on site engineering support led by Nit Subramaniam, ERO director of engineering for Honeywell programs along with some of our most experienced Honeywell qualified technicians to ensure that everything is done right.
