FLYHT appoints seasoned aviation executive Nina Jonsson to Board of Directors

FLYHT Aerospace Solutions Ltd. has announced the appointment of Nina Jonsson to the company’s board of directors, which now total 10 members.

Prior to joining FLYHT, Nina was Senior Vice President, Group Fleet at Air France-KLM responsible for fleet strategy, aircraft sourcing, leasing and sales, helping to drive synergies across the six group airlines. Plane View Partners Photo.

“Nina brings a wealth of executive experience to our team, with over 25 years at three major international airlines – Air France-KLM, United Airlines and US Airways – and Bristow Group, a global provider of industrial aviation services,” said FLYHT CEO Thomas Schmutz.  “We welcome Nina to our Board of Directors and believe her leadership and expertise will be a great contribution to FLYHT.  We are fortunate to have Nina onboard during this exciting time as we continue to strengthen and expand the business.”

Prior to joining FLYHT, Jonsson was senior vice-president, Group Fleet at Air France-KLM responsible for fleet strategy, aircraft sourcing, leasing and sales, helping to drive synergies across the six group airlines.

She is currently president of Viking Fleet Advisors and a senior advisor at Plane View Partners, guiding the C-suite of global airlines, OEMs, suppliers, lessors and financing entities on long term strategy, negotiation and operational efficiencies. Jonsson’s existing experience and relationships in the aviation industry will be of great strategic value to FLYHT.
