The largest static display of corporate and private aircraft in Canada, this year’s venue at Chartright FBO features more than 19 aircraft presented by Aerostructural Inc., Bombardier. Chartright, Columbia Aircraft Sales, Dassault, Embraer, Fliteline, Gulfstream, Levaero Aviation, Quest Aircraft, Skies Magazine, Skyservice and Textron Aviation.

The CBAA convention and exhibition is taking place in Waterloo, Ont., June 12 to 14, in the heart of Canada’s largest concentration of business aircraft used by single aircraft owner/operators, corporate flight departments and flight management companies.

“This is an excellent opportunity for pilots, flight managers and anyone looking to buy a business jet in the region to meet directly with the OEMs and check out the aircraft. The convention and static are only an hour away from Toronto, so they can accomplish a lot very efficiently,” said interim president and CEO, Rudy Toering.

The companies at the static are joined by 59 vendors at the exhibit hall. With products and services aimed at the Canadian business aviation market, the exhibit and static is a convenient one-stop-shop for operators of all sizes.

To help buyers and sellers connect, the CBAA is once again offering its networking and scheduling app, B2BTOGO to all delegates and vendors at no charge.

Delegates will also get the latest information on the most critical topics they face in 15 topical and informative educational and plenary sessions–from briefings from Transport Canada and Nav Canada, dealing with new Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) policies, to addressing labour shortages to the impact of legalized marijuana, emergency communications, the workplace in a post #MeToo environment, and much more.

CBAA has also partnered with the Canadian Council for Aviation and Aerospace (CCAA) to offer workshops, specially-priced for convention delegates, that provide certification for Quality Assurance Manager, Corrective Action Plans and Quality System Auditor for 604 operations.

“Without question, this is one of our strongest programs,” said Toering. “I think everyone who attends the sessions will learn something that they can put to good use immediately”.
