IMP Electronic Systems, an operating unit of IMP Aerospace & Defence, is pleased to announce that it has received the 2013 Gold Boeing Performance Excellence Award. The Boeing Company issues the award annually to recognize suppliers who have achieved superior quality and delivery performance. IMP Electronic Systems maintained a Gold composite performance rating for both quality and delivery for each month of the 12-month performance period from Oct. 1, 2012, to Sept. 30, 2013.
Since 1984, IMP Electronic Systems has supplied complex wire harness assemblies to Boeing Defence, Space & Security for a number of military platforms including the F/A-18 Hornet and the CH-47 Chinook. These harnesses are fitted to military aircraft flown by numerous international forces.
“We are extremely proud of this tremendous accomplishment,” stated Dave Meagher, IMP Electronic Systems’ vice president and general manager. “Boeing maintains over 23,000 global suppliers and we are one of only 124 suppliers to receive Gold status. Our objective is to maintain our solid performance with Boeing while continuing to grow our business with them.”
