ING Robotic Aviation, alongside partner company Centre de géomatique du Québec (CGQ), has been granted the Célébrons le Partenariat award. In recognition of this award, both companies will be attending the 5th edition Célébrons le Partenariat gala hosted by the Association for the Development of Research and Innovation of Quebec (ADRIQ). The companies are one of seven partnerships selected to attend out of the 28 that applied to the contest. This prestigious event recognizes the commercial success of technology in Quebec, specifically in the collaboration between researchers, entrepreneurs, and their partners.

The event will take place on the evening of May 15, 2014 at the Salle de bal Le Windsor in Montreal, Quebec. ADRIQ, a unique and influential supporter of technological innovation in Quebec, will be announcing and honouring the seven project winners at the evening gala.

“We are very honoured to have been selected for this distinguished award,” says ING Robotic Aviation CEO and founder, Ian Glenn. “It is humbling to know our hard work towards reinventing aviation is being recognized.”

The gala will be recognizing the activities that ING Robotic Aviation and CGQ have been collaborating together on in developing robotic aircraft system solutions for the commercial market. Currently, the Responder robotic aircraft system that CGQ purchased from ING Robotic Aviation is being used to collect aerial imagery for scientific research in geomatic activities.
