Iris Dynamics Ltd. has announced that it is now shipping their highly anticipated new Control Loading Flight Yoke.
“We set out to change the way people interact with flight simulation and flight training systems,” noted Chad Grice, CEO at Iris Dynamics. “We are really excited to achieve this important milestone.”
Added Grice, “We believe that our new flight yoke is going to revolutionize the industry because it enables control loading and haptic feedback which are required to properly represent the control feel of simulated aircraft.  For example, we have equipped the NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center with one of our flight yokes for development of flight safety systems.  The flight yoke will be also be demonstrating haptic Angle-of-Attack warnings at the ASTM F44/FAA part 23 spin avoidance workshop in January.”
The yoke uses patent-pending control loading technology to provide highly accurate control forces and realistic trim representation in a consumer priced yoke. Previously only available in high-end professional or military flight simulations systems, control loading technology changes the way people interact with machines, bringing a new dimension of realism and feel that enhances the simulation experience.
Iris Dynamics Ltd. will be demonstrating their Control Loading Flight Yoke at the I/ITSEC show (Interservice/ Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference) in Orlando Fla., Dec. 1 to 5, 2014, Booth #616.
Effective immediately until Dec. 5th, 2014, there is free world-wide standard shipping on all new orders when purchased from the www.irisdynamics.com website.
The Iris Dynamics Flight Yoke sells for $1,499. New order lead time is now two to three weeks, depending on the options selected.
