The inaugural event attracted attendees from across Canada. One operator from Quebec said, “If we had known the content was going to be this good, we would have brought many more from our team.”

The one-day event offered 16 seminars that addressed a variety of issues surrounding maintenance and operation of the King Air.

There were also two panel discussions with a variety of experts responding to questions from the floor. Textron Aviation was the title sponsor and brought factory representatives to address questions from the group.

The event was also well supported by industry suppliers and highlighted various opportunities to improve safety and lower operating costs. The combined expertise from the supplier group was a great addition that led to many informal conversations throughout the day. An added attraction were tours of StandardAero and Canadian Propeller, which are located nearby.

Plans are already underway for next year’s King Air Summit, to be held in September 2018. Details will be announced.
