Air Canada has unveiled the latest manifestation of its partnerships with Disney, a custom livery for one of its Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.

The airline revealed the livery on X (the social network formerly known as Twitter) on Nov. 23, 2023. It features characters from the new Disney film Wish, an animated musical comedy currently in theatres.

Planespotters in Toronto and Dublin snapped photos and video of the aircraft earlier this week, prior to the official unveiling.

Disney-themed planes have been a hit with Canadian planespotters in the past, who have flooded social media channels with photos of WestJet’s Frozen-themed plane, as well as its so-called Magic Plane, featuring Mickey Mouse’s character from Fantasia.

Air Canada previously unveiled an Airbus A220 custom livery featuring characters from the Disney and Pixar film Turning Red in February 2022, as part of a promotional push for the movie.
