Decatur, Texas-based AeroBrigham — which specialized in custom helicopter completions and aircraft maintenance — has announced it is the presenting sponsor of the new aviation TV show, Straight and Level, produced by aviation experts from Assent Aeronautics. The show, which airs on AWE Network on Thursdays at 3 p.m. ET, shares insights on buying and selling million-dollar private jets and helicopters.
Straight and Level wrapped up its first season in early 2021, and season 2 is set to premiere on Thursday, Sept. 23. AWE has also “optioned Straight and Level through 2022 for a total of 39 new episodes,” the network said.
“Throughout the second season of Straight and Level, the team will explore 21st Century aviation technology and the positive affect aviation has on humanity,” AWE TV said. “From flight training to historic aircraft to aviation education and supersonic flight, the Straight and Level team is focused on bringing aviation-centric, humanistic stories to life.”
W. Hulsey Smith, executive producer and president of Assent Media + Entertainment, added: “The golden age of aviation isn’t over, people just stopped paying attention, and our focus for Straight and Level is to bring the joy and love of flying back to the forefront of conversation.”
David Brigham, president of AeroBrigham, said viewers can expect some episodes to highlight special aviation events like EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2021, which will be the focus of the season 2 premiere.
Throughout multiple episodes, AeroBrigham will also have its own three-minute segment that features aircraft projects the company is working on from start to finish. “We’re super excited to be part of this show,” said Brigham.
As part of AeroBrigham’s partnership with Assent Aeronautics, Brigham said once the pandemic slows, the companies plan to also broadcast live auctions with fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft, “styled to mimic the Barrett-Jackson auto auctions.”
