“I am pleased to report a record load factor of 80 per cent for the month of January,” said Calin Rovinescu, president and chief executive officer.  “Air Canada generated greater traffic for the month of January in all markets the airline serves with system wide growth of 3.7 per cent on a capacity increase of 3 per cent, led by increases in traffic in Latin American, Caribbean and U.S. transborder markets.  I would like to thank our employees for their hard work taking care of customers while transporting them safely to their destinations despite the challenges of severe winter weather during the month at our Canadian hubs.”
