Arcfield Canada Corp., a provider of aerospace and defence services, celebrated the official opening of its new warehouse facility located at Canadian Forces Base Cold Lake, Alta., with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, Aug. 23.
Arcfield Canada supports the CF-188 fighter operations conducted at 4 Wing Cold Lake under the operational command of 1 Canadian Air Division. As an international Centre of Excellence for tactical fighter operations, 4 Wing is one ofthe largest and busiest fighter aircraft wingsof the Canadian Armed Forces.
The new Arcfield Canada location will further enhance its ability to provide world-class supply chain management services to the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF).

Arcfield Canada has been the trusted partner in providing in-service support, maintenance repair and overhaul, engineering and testing and comprehensive supply chain management services for the RCAF’s CF-188 aircraft fleet. For the primary air vehicle (PAV), avionics optimized weapon system support, and the propulsion group sustainment programs, Arcfield manages more than 100,000 supply transactions annually at Cold Lake and Bagotville, Que., and has completed more than 70,000 repairs on the CF-188 avionics systems to date at the company’s repair shops in Calgary.

Arcfield Canada said it will continue to scale its operations at its four warehouse locations across Canada to ensure the highest level of equipment availability and operational readiness.
