ARGUS adds 99 years of aviation experience with five new employees

ARGUS International, Inc. is pleased to announce the recent addition of five new employees. 
Anthony Brancaccio, Andrew Fischer, Volker Meissner, Rob Michelis and Ed Wassom have a combined total of 99 years of aviation industry experience and join the ARGUS team to assist with customer growth and international expansion. 
“I am thrilled to welcome Anthony, Andrew, Volker, Rob and Ed to the ARGUS team,” said Joe Moeggenberg, president and CEO of ARGUS. 
“They each bring a unique and valuable set of skills to our company, with proven track records of success in their areas of expertise. ARGUS is growing at such a rapid pace that we have been continually recruiting talented and experienced individuals to aid our development and enhance the customer experience both domestically and internationally.” 
Anthony Brancaccio, market intelligence sales manager, is responsible for the ARGUS Business Aviation Market Intelligence portfolio of products. Brancaccio previously held sales positions with Avantair and Linear Air as well as LexisNexis. Most notably, Brancaccio is the founder of the non-profit group Private Aviation Professionals, which currently has over 10,000 members globally. Brancaccio will be based out of an office in East Hanover, NJ. 
Andrew Fischer, AVMOSYS customer service and support manager, is responsible for customer support and implementation management for existing AVMOSYS clients. Fischer’s entire professional career has been aviation focused, spending 13 years in sales and marketing at NetJets and ending his stint in 2009 as NetJets’ vice president of sales. 
He most recently served at Air Charter Services with the responsibility of increasing the Jet-Card program presence throughout the Americas. Fischer will work out of the Columbus, Ohio branch with the rest of the AVMOSYS team. 
Volker Meissner, director of European sales, is responsible for the ARGUS Air Carrier and Business Aviation portfolio of products and services, specifically the IOSA, IS-BAO and ARGUS Platinum Industry Best Practices audit standards. 
Meissner previously owned and managed the charter brokerage firm, Aviation Charter Ltd., before it was acquired earlier this year by The Charter Company in Luton, U.K. Meissner will work from offices located in the United Kingdom, Germany and Italy and brings almost 30 years of aviation experience and knowledge to help ARGUS better serve the European marketplace. 
Rob Michelis, senior AVMOSYS developer and analyst, has over 20 years of experience as an information technology professional and will be working with the AVMOSYS development team out of the Columbus, Ohio office. 
Most recently, Michelis served as the senior developer for Command Alkon in Dublin, Ohio and previously served as Project Manager for NetJets. 
Ed Wassom, AVMOSYS regional sales manager, is responsible for selling AVMOSYS business enterprise management software across the globe. With more than 25 years of experience building and growing both private and commercial aviation businesses, Wassom most recently served as Universal Weather’s director of global strategic accounts and previously worked as the vice president of sales and marketing for The Aviation Hub. Wassom will be based out of an office in Boulder, Colo.
