Aviation Fabricators (AvFab) recently announced they received Canadian approval for the installation of their STC approved King Air Aft Jump Seat Kits on Beechcraft King Air models 90, 100, 200, 300 and 350.
In addition, AvFab has received U.S., EASA, Brazilian, Mexican and Indonesian STC approval for the Aft Jump Seats.
The jump seats fold down from the side wall of the aircraft in the aft baggage compartment. The seats are interchangeable with the OEM jump seat and can utilize the existing OEM installation hardware. If the aircraft has not been previously equipped, the AvFab kit can be used to make the installation.
“This is another big step in our mission to support the King Air in as many corners of the world as we can,” said GR Lowe of AvFab. “With these continued approvals more and more operators will be able to realize the significant versatility advantage of adding our Aft Jump Seat Kits to their aircraft.”
The kit includes all installation hardware, brackets, parts, the seat (un-upholstered), complete restraint system, life vest, overhead lights, vents, oxygen drop-downs, and installation instructions. AvFab generally has kits in stock and available for timely world-wide shipment.
