Discovery Air Technical Services Inc. (DATS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Discovery Air Inc., has been awarded a heavy maintenance contract by Morningstar Air Express Inc., of Edmonton Alta., for one ATR-72-202 aircraft. The work will be carried-out at DATS’ Heavy Maintenance facility at the Jean Lesage International Airport in Quebec City during the summer of 2015.
“We are honoured to have been selected by Morningstar Air Express for this important contract” commented Jean-Claude Tewfik, vice president of marketing and sales at DATS. He added “Morningstar are a new client to DATS and we look forward to building on this relationship with them in the years to come”.
In other news, Discovery Air Technical Services Inc., has also been awarded a heavy maintenance contract by a major U.S. regional airline operating ERJ 135/145 regional jets. This new customer contract covers an initial nine aircraft. The work will be carried-out at DATS’ Heavy Maintenance facility at the Jean Lesage International Airport in Quebec City during the summer of 2015.
