Esterline CMC Electronics (CMC) has received Canadian Technical Standard Order (CAN-TSO) design approval for its CMA-6800 display.
By virtue of the bilateral agreement between the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) dated Sept. 15, 2015, the CAN-TSO is now also recognized by the FAA for the CMA-6800.
Under this reciprocal acceptance, a TSO Appliance approval issued by the FAA or TCCA is considered equivalent to the other having issued its own approval.
