The International Test Pilots School Canada (ITPS) and Lemay.ai Inc., respective leaders in pilot training and artificial intelligence, today announced a strategic partnership that introduces machine learning and advanced analytics capabilities into flight test engineering and pilot training services.
The collaboration takes advantage of Lemay.ai’s expertise in machine learning and data science and ITPS’ flight test engineering and pilot training expertise, to provide a unique Canadian capability to the global aerospace and defence community.
The two companies have collaborated on the development and deployment of an on-premise data science activity center, enabling ITPS’ existing flight simulation compute hardware infrastructure to be leveraged for data science and machine learning workloads.
Projects such as digital twin modelling, improved pilot training, and flight analytics are facilitated by the system announced today. This is a broad-based capability that unlocks the ability to execute flight simulation projects in the future.
