London International Airport lands Ontario’s newest private aviation facility

The London International Airport (YXU) has announced ADJ Aero’s groundbreaking of a new 150,000-square-foot development at YXU, boasting a modern 50,000-square-foot aviation facility.

This transformative project, led by the ADJ Group of Companies, aims to redefine aviation services in the region, providing convenience and amenities for both local and visiting aviators.

Construction by experienced Aveiro Constructors Ltd. broke ground on Friday, April 26, 2024. The facility will be ready to hangar planes for the upcoming winter, with a grand opening ceremony to be planned upon full completion in Spring 2025.

The state-of-the-art facility designed by 360 Smart Design will boast expansive space with hangar, lounges, office space and a rooftop patio.

The future operating base for both Executive Aviation, an established provider of fixed-base operator and commercial ground services, and Flightexec, an executive aircraft charter and management company.

The new facility will cater to the demands of the aviation community, offering a seamless experience for private, corporate, and charter flights. With an array of premium services from concierge, ground handling to fueling and catering, the spacious hangar will be able to accommodate various aircraft sizes and maintenance needs.
