Meeker-Airfilm announced it has received a Transport Canada supplemental type certificate (STC) for its R44 and R66 lightweight nose mount.
The nose mount requires no permanent modifications to the airframe and fits over the existing landing light cover.
The maximum payload is limited to 50 pounds and is intended for various camera systems, searchlights, lidar, antennae etc.
The nose mount also has Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) STCs.
