Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) is further supporting agricultural operators by launching a new engine rebate program for PT6A-34AG-powered aircraft. Customers of new PT6A-34AG engines installed on new Air Tractor or Thrush aircraft will receive a US$35,000 rebate paid directly to them.

“The agricultural segment is core to our business and the PT6A-34AG new engine rebate program is just one of the many ways we are demonstrating our ongoing commitment to serving the industry,” said Denis Parisien, vice president, General Aviation, P&WC. “Programs like this one are about letting our customers know we are listening closely, we understand their needs and we are taking action to deliver bottom-line value to support their businesses.”

The PT6A-34AG rebate program is one of several current P&WC initiatives tailored to the agricultural industry. P&WC recently launched its new PT6A-140AG turboprop engine selected to power Air Tractor’s new AT502XP aircraft. P&WC also received Transport Canada authorization for field testing of PT6A-34AG engines in Brazil this spray season, with S10 and S500 Type B biodiesel comprised of up to 10 per cent bio content.

“Our dedication to the agricultural industry is stronger than ever,” said Parisien. “Maintaining a prominent and supportive presence is a top priority as we continue to deliver innovative products and services that help agricultural operations run more efficiently and cost effectively.”

The new PT6A-34AG engine rebate program launched on Dec. 8, and will continue to be available for a limited time and while quantities last. For more details on the offer, customers are advised to contact their agricultural aircraft dealer.
