TrainingPort.net has announced the release of Ramp Awareness, a custom-built topic for ground handlers and other flight department personnel. This addition is one of many more to come, meaning that ground handlers will soon have access to a comprehensive list of training topics, which already includes Marshalling and Towing.
Stewart Macpherson is the Subject Matter Expert for Ramp Awareness. Having been a former FBO operations manager, he has extensive experience in ramp operations. Because FBO ramps can be busy and confusing, he states that “Ramp Awareness training is paramount for FBOs and BAHAs. Our training considers all aspects of busy ramps to prepare you for safe and successful operations.”
Featuring innovative in-house animations and graphics, Ramp Awareness covers safety concepts like safety preparation on the ramp, foreign object damage, tie-downs, and severe weather conditions.
