Waterloo Wellington Flight Centre to offer IFR renewals in Alsim ALX flight training device

The Waterloo Wellington Flight Centre (WWFC) is pleased to announce that its new Alsim ALX Flight Training device is now online and available for training.  Along with regular training that can be done in this state of the art flight training device, WWFC will be offering IFR renewal packages with the Alsim ALX in the near future.  The Alsim ALX IFR Renewal package will include:
  • Two hours IFR simulator training 
  • One hour IFR Ground prep 
  • Preparatory materials
  • Flight test in simulator (with accredited PE)
  • Sign off Fee for IFR Rating
  • Examiner Fee
IFR Renewals will be available for both Group 1 and Group 3 ratings in the following flight models: 
  • Single piston, variable pitch propeller and retractable landing gear, with classic or EFIS instrumentation (i.e.PA28R)
  • Twin piston with classic or EFIS instrumentation (i.e. PA-44)
The Waterloo Wellington Flight Centre will also be offering advanced training packages to small operators for use in simulator evaluations, hiring evaluations, and CRM training.  The new Alsim will be an excellent platform for pilots looking to renew their IFR, for maintaining recency, as well as initial IFR training.
