West Star Aviation has announced its Grand Junction, Colo., (GJT) location was authorized as an Embraer Service Center for base maintenance of Legacy 450/500 model aircraft.
This approval includes full maintenance support for authorized aircraft models and performing scheduled maintenance. West Star (GJT) was previously approved to conduct base maintenance on the Phenom 100/300 as well as Legacy 600/650 models.
“With the addition of the Legacy 450/500 models, West Star now offers all-inclusive service to the full line of Embraer Executive Jets,” said Joe Carr, Embraer program manager at GJT. “West Star looks forward to continue to offer our world class service to the Embraer family.”
West Star’s Grand Junction location has state-of-the-art equipment and facilities to provide all areas of base maintenance on select Embraer models including interior refurbishment, exterior paint, avionics, repairs and installations.
West Star Aviation, Inc. specializes in the repair and maintenance of airframes, windows, and engines, as well as major modifications, avionics installation and repair, interior refurbishment, surplus avionics sales, accessory services, paint and parts.
In addition to its facilities in East Alton, Ill.; Grand Junction, Colo.; and Chattanooga, Tenn., West Star Aviation runs maintenance operations at Aspen-Pitkin County Airport in Aspen, Colo.; Chicago Executive Airport in Chicago, Ill. and Centennial Airport in Denver, Colo.
The company also provides complete FBO services for transient aircraft at its newly remodeled East Alton and Grand Junction facilities.
