Derek Kast assumes role of Associate Publisher

KITCHENER, ONTARIO March 22, 2012 MHM Publishing, Canada largest aviation-only publisher and the home of industry-renowned magazines Vertical, Vertical 911 and Canadian Skies, is pleased to announced that Derek Kast has been promoted to the position of Associate Publisher.
Kast has been with MHM since 2007. In his role as Director of Marketing and Sales, his work resulted in the growth and development of the company print and digital advertising revenue streams. 
We are celebrating Vertical 10th anniversary this year, and Derek has been instrumental to our success, said MHM Co-publisher Linda Reyno. He has demonstrated a clear understanding of the industries we serve, and has led several initiatives that have focused our sales efforts and resulted in increased productivity and profits. With this promotion, we are recognizing his efforts as a valuable member of our management team.
In his new role as Associate Publisher, Kast will handle the majority of day-to-day decision-making for MHM Publishing. As the company continues to grow its family of aviation titles in Canada and the United States, Derek attention to detail and his focus on providing superior customer service to our advertising partners will ensure our continued success, Reyno added.
